Im from Snellville GA, I plan on riding to Augusta(2.5 hr ride) soon for a new job. Ill be there two weeks at a time, climbing trees, cutting branches, clearing way for GA power. After the two weeks I'll have a "weekend" and ride back home. Im wondering what do I need to do to make sure my bike can make this commute every so often. I own a 1975 CB550k, with a 76 550f right hand control, might I add.
PS I have a small idea brewing in my head. Im thinking about cutting my crappy foam pods I never used but read a million S***TY reviews on, and using those as air boots to my stock airbox... I think it might work.
