Prices are all over the place on the lesters.
The ones on my F came on a parts bike! so its hit or miss

but in one the open retail market the prces are still nutz
Ive seen sets sell on ebay for $400-1000
The 18 rear is worth alot more then the 16s

shame about that bike, seems like most of the pricey "early" parts are missing
and whats up with the cut frame?

The 450 bike I pulled the forks off of, was I think Jan or Feb 70 on the frame tag..
I have the partsbook, that is how I confirmed.. I then sold the caliper as a KO caliper.. it was part # KOrrect.. hub is too..

the cut frame is a disaster basically. po said it was raked but i don't believe this is the case - here's a picture of it side by side with a hondamatic frame and there's little difference. the cut tubing though has weakened the frame and i think it's twisted somewhat. lots of creativity with this build.

The cut frame is not a problem. It can be fixed. Or you could sell it................or you can fix it!!!!...........(i'm purty much fulla sh!t right now

well the frame number is 1037xxx, build date is 5/70 - don't know how it's worth shipping plus whatever i try to charge you for it though.

You need some tubing the same size as what was cut out and a Gordon frame kit. That will fix the frame + give you access to the top end of the engine without removal from the frame.

probably i'll hang it on the wall in the shed for now, but it's a good idea to use a gordon frame kit. i was wondering about welding in (having a pro do it) the tubes from the hondamatic frame in the photo - you'd have access to the top end then right? don't know if a k tank would fit though.
terry - will keep your frame search in mind. seriously, how do you work shipping to australia? the people at the post office here told me not to ship stuff "overseas" as it's impossible to track unless you go with very expensive first-class type shipping.

Thanks mate, I've had all sorts of stuff sent from the US with no problems, but I just bought a complete CB750K1 from Fred (Mr Breeze) and eventually I'll have it shipped to Oz, in the meantime he's been very generous and allowed me to have some other K0 parts I need for my K0 project shipped to him, and they'll come over to Oz with the bike. well guys i'd like to be part of the network, in a small way, if possible, so keep me in mind. i'm just retired from work and more focussed on motorcycles, driving a 1976 750k, buying stuff on craigslist in the southeast, selling stuff as well on ebay (as doublesheds) so that's the deal on my end.

Hey thanks Harvey, and congratulations on your retirement mate! I'm so looking forward to retirement, still 14 years to go, unless of course I win the lotto tomorrow night (21 million bucks, woohoo!) in which case some of you guys will soon be getting a knock on your door from a drunken loudmouth Aussie standing there with a box of cold beer and a bottle of whisky in the boot of Jag's beautiful car. (which will be one of my many purchases when I hit the land of of the free all cashed up!) I'll go see what you've got on EBay, I think Fred's probably sick of me by now, but who knows...........

My father in law got a nice set of lesters on a parts bike for 200 Bux a few years ago. Lucky guy. Hes got them on his K0 he's building. looks nice.

400 dollars for that bike is definately a steal considering the wheels alone are worth double that.

I bought the Henry Abe wheels on my K1 from EBay for 300-odd bucks (Can't remember exactly, but I thought they were cheap) and they're fantastic, particularly when I had the right caliper on and off several times trying to work out why it kept jamming. (turns out that the "fixed" disc pad was too thick, I'd never seen that before) Without all those pesky spokes to get in my way it was a piece of cake to install and remove the caliper.

those lowers may not be what you want. they've been chromed and the chrome is pitted. anyway here are a couple of pictures.
