Topic: 79 cb750 exhaust on a 77???

Hey folks. I have a set of Vance and Hines pipes for a 79 Super Sport (#14001). My bike is a 77 CB750 Supersport. Can anyone confirm these will fit? I have heard that they will fit, but hang a little low? Just wondering if anyone has actually run they before I got pulling  the stock exhaust off. Thanx!

I have heard they fit but like you said, they hang a little lower. Never actually mounted one up though.

I removed the stock exhaust and got the V&C's to fit. I did have to remove the tab on the V&C's and fab a new one to mount to my bike. I will post some before and after pics once I get it mounted. I still have to find a baffle for it. I could remove the baffle from the stockers, but I'd kind of like to leave them intact as they are still usable and in better condition than most. Anyone have a ratty set of 4-1's they would be willing to remove and mail me the baffle?
