I hate working on those carbs. A few years ago I think oldbikebarn.com had some parts but I don't know if they do or not anymore

I  NEED  a fuel connector tube O-ring.They are certainly NOT avail. anymore & w/o the EXACT o.e. part the fuel connector will not push in & seal(by friction only)correctly.
I have done alot of looking & spent hours here & there looking for the CORRECT part.
I guess the only thing to do is...keep trying &...hoping.

LET  ME  HERE  FROM  YOU  PLEASE.

Did you try going to a hydraulic shop with your parts and see if they have something that would work?

What year are they? I think the 86 carbs are a different size? Not sure if that particular o-ring would be different as well...

These are from a 1985 VF500F interceptor...a hydraulic shop? do they have very small
o-rings in many different sizes, even metric, in your experience ?
I checked Bikebandit & Honda only sells the complete tube set including o-rings,
which is....no longer avail. The part#'s are different from 85' to 86'. I sure hope to find a source soon.I have a mint set of carbs that only need that one part to be 100% &
I hope to sell them.

hydraulic shops and hose shops have a wide variety of orings. i use tipco here in springfield va. they let us bring our parts in and try the orings to see if they fit. im sure you can find something at one of those shops. good luck

There are German websites that sell these and make the "plastic"T"'s out of aluminum.
I have seen them on Ebay too. Look under VF1000R too.

That is one of THE stupidist things I have seen Honda do. Make fuel lines out of hard plastic. Should have been metal for safety reasons.

Honda just keeps messing up. When I was younger Honda was the innovator and the leader. But now they let the car designers into the motorcycle dept.

Hi All,
I was able to find the o-rings at a hydraulic shop;one of the carbs(#3) had a bad pilot screw hole, so I listed the set of carbs on Feebay;3 carbs in excellent condition w/ all the necessary parts to run your bike, less #3(right rear)carburetor.I hope someone can use them.
