itll go leaner,if its just while your getting one organised or something and have to ride the bike just dont thrash it into the higher revs and itll be ok,you might feel it actually loses power if the noise dosent make you think youve gained twenty horsepower!

Thanks Dave. I thougt it may lean it out since there is no back pressure from the removed muffler.... As stated its TEMP... I am trying to figure out if i want to use a Lossa `12" reverse megephone cone for 110 or buy carpys 4-1 complete system for 400

Pissing off your neighbors or anybody you're riding near, getting pulled over, scaring small children, etc... ;)

i got an empty megaphone from retro rocket and made up a baffle for it,not noisy but a pleasing growly at revs sound,i fluked a small truck water pump pulley as the end cap.

i like its looks and sound for a cheap unit, ive also used a normal automotive straight through muffler,,they perform good but look a bit odd to some people

no sweat,it was an empty megaphone,it had been on a 750 drag bike,i just made up a baffle for it,its an old "transac"brand hand made cone,it looks a little sticky outy from behind but works well,,i filled the water pump pulley drive holes with bling stainless button head allens.

at work we have a plasma cutter and mig etc,,so i can get stuff done at work,,if you cant bend/invent/jigger up or find something to work buying a bolt on is the go,,nothing worse than a half ased exhaust on anything,,have a look at this,i just fitted new headers to my old car and one side fell together while this side is short, ive wrapped some tin around that gap for the drive to the muffler shop to get it fitted up properly,,sometimes you just gotta spend some money!we cant do this without a hoist easy.
