New guy in Virginia
« on: August 31, 2011, 04:48:43 PM »
Been lurking for a bit, but figured I'd better get around to introducing myself. Username should give a clue that I'm a pretty simple guy. Live in northern Virginia and getting ready to start a(nother) project. Not sure what I'm going to do yet, but I have a K1 500 and 550. Both relative basket cases, but should be able to get one nice bike out of the 2.

My regular ride is a BMW R12GS and I also have an 87 Honda XL600 I'm trying to get back on the road (things move slowly round these parts).

BTW - can someone let me know if/ how to subscribe to threads and if there's any kind of user control panel?

Thanks

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!
