Topic: Kickstand puzzle..baffled, 1977 CB 750K.

This has been on the back of my mind for quite awhile. The one on the bike was re-welded at some point and was way to short. I picked up one on flea bay but it still doesn't look right. I think it is the wrong one myself. Should be against the rubber pad but way off.

So, if you 1977/78 CB 750 K owners would post a couple of pictures what yours looks like I would appreciate it greatly. Looks like another stand is in order.

Where's yer center stand?

That bumper on the exhaust is for the center stand, not the side stand.

On bike, not in picture. There is also a bumper for it. Two (2) bumpers on lower left side of exhaust pipe.

As you can see from the picture the kickstand rests against the muffler. I don't think that is correct.
