I literally bought a bike in boxes. It's a 1973 CL350. The good news is that the P.O. bagged everything. The bad news is that he didn't tag it.
Spent some time today sorting and inventorying it and I can I.D. most of it. There are three bags with some hardware that I'm not sure about. Can anyone I.D. these parts?
(Dang it.....wish I had laid down a quarter or something for taking pics, for size reference)
First up, a pretty clean bolt and spring. Possibly part of the rear brake pedal stuff? I have the larger/longer pivot bolt for the rear brake lever.
Then there's a bag with possible clutch cover bolts? I say that because three of them have O-rings on them and I've seen that on the lower bolts on clutch covers before. But two of them are hex head and the rest are allen bolts. The top end of the engine is disassembled too and this could be part of the head or cam tower for all I know.
Then there's the third bag with some small, clean cross head screws and washers and some sort of special bolt. The one bolt has a smooth, captive type head (sorry...don't know the correct term). Where do these go?
Is it possible that the last bag is intake manifold hardware and the special bolt for the choke linkage?
