engine shuts off when handlebars are turned??

Anyone know where I can get a color wiring diagram for an '80 CM400T. My problem is that when I turn the handlebars, the engine shuts off. Anyone every have this problem, or know what it might be? I'm thinking the kill switch????

If all the electrics shut down it is probably a loose connection at the ignition switch plug. All Honda motorcycles use the same color code for the wiring... What is shutting down?...Larry

If its blowing your fuses, something is grounding out in or around your headstock. Ask how I know :) If your fuses are fine, Id agree with it being a kill switch issue.

Fuses are ok..Going to swap complete handlebars from another bike. See what happens with then.
