I do love me a Kawasaki as well. Those things are rocketships. I almost got a KZ 750 first, but it was sold before I called. So, I got the 77' CB 750 instead. Thanks for adding more pictures. This is going to be a big help.

57.3" was the stock wheelbase IIRC, so that's not too horribly off. A problem I ran into right out of the gate was with the mono-conversion I'm interested in, it adds close to 4 inches... 1.7" is much more doable. Nice...

now i gotta check that to make sure because i cannot believe thats all i added. however, i did shorten the front by lowering it so maybe i gained an inch or two there??? i dunno. i am gonna recheck that. also gonna check my 2007 kawasaki versys as well (it has very similar suspension).

I wonder about the airflow at high speeds... with that pod out in the wind like that do you notice any performance issues?
Also, does your digital guage have an analog looking tachometer? I would rather see a needle on a guage than just a bunch of numbers flashing by.

thus far there are no performance issues. everything seems to be great. i was concerned about loss of airflow at highspeed but i think the shape of the cone may create a small "vortex" behind it thus providing airflow to the center of the cone. talking out of my ass here though. as for the tach, if you watch the gauge closely in the video you can see a bar from the left bottom corner rising up along the top. that is the tach in normal positions. the fluctuating numbers are normally the speed.

I see that bar now that you mention it... and I swear those numbers on the bottom are your RPMs, your MPHs are at zero... Right?

you can switch the lower screen from rpm to speed, odo, trip1, trip2, tt, laps, time, etc. its a really great gauge for the price.

Pretty crazy build and definitely unique. Props for doing all the work yourself.

I liked your swingarm setup and am doing the same thing. Did you use the stock swingarm pivot bolt? Because now with stretching the frame, mine isn't long enough.
