Would like to know...
« on: September 15, 2011, 09:36:38 PM »
If you have a 1978 CB750K with 4 into one exhaust and pod filters and you changed the pilot jet from a #35 to a #40 or drilled it out I would like to know if you got a good result.

I am thinking about going bigger on my pilot jet and want to know if any forum members got good results.

pod filters differ from one to the other. You're asking how an unknown modification would react to another unknown modification. At best, it'll go faster, with no effort, and just run perfect with no work. At worst, it'll run like #$%*, and sprinkle brass filings into the combustion chambers. Neither is a guarantee. Roll the dice.

If you have anything but the K&N pods with the inbuilt velocity stacks then you are in for a lot of screwing around for a less than perfect result. Why did you remove the airbox in the first place..?

If You can't fix it with a hammer, You've got an electrical problem.
