Topic: Bee stings hurt, espcially when....

Ok, let's hear the stories....

Here is mine:

2 days ago while at the top of a 32" ladder,
with  paintbrush in one hand and holding on with the other,
streahing out to paint the peak of the attic roof siding,
above 3rd floor,
as soon as my brush touched the board,
a bunch of bees came out and stung me on the lower right ankle.

It was a challenge to hang on, 

Good thing I am a tough Canadian, me.

several years back before I got my SOHC/4's I was on my HD Wide Glide riding with a couple other guys. All of a sudden I felt something fly into the right side of my helmet around my ear. Before I could get the Harley stop and the helmet off the bee had tore up my ear. Just the joys of riding a motorcycle

about a week ago I was giving my 650 a squirt through some twisties and caught a wasp under my chin strap , grit teeth bring bike to a stop FAST and swat the little bastard and remove from under my chin strap then squeeze between my fingers just to make sure he was well and truly dead. Then curse the little blighter for the rest of the ride because my chin felt like I had copped a swift right hook.

I got stung on the chest years ago when out on the bike.....discovered I was allergic and ended up lying on the side of the road miles from anywhere (no mobiles in those days) gasping for breath cos my throat had swollen up, luckily it wore off but I was a bit panicky (which doesn't help the breathing).
My mrs had a brother die from a bee sting, it was his 2nd in about a week and it was too much for him.
