well, i found an ebay ad for a 530 conversion sprocket, however, looking at the dimensions in the ad, it appeared to be the same as any 17 tooth 530 sprocket, i ordered it anyway. well, there is nothing conversion about it. its just a 530 sprocket. the difference i think between the stock sprocket and the 530 one is that the original has a raised middle on the inside, where as the new one is raised in the middle on both sides.(basically the new 530 one is a little wider in the center). my plan was the fit a washer in the gap between the shaft and the bolt that holds the sprocket on. i will get a new bolt that is just a little longer too, just in case those couple threads matter. its kinda hard for me to really comment on this setup as i have not put it all together yet, probably not gonna need a chain if i dont have any brakes yet. but when i get it together, i will post again.
