front wheel

Hi, i have sent my front discs off to day, to len cooper, to get new ones fitted, i have been looking on central wheel components for a front rim. my steel rim is 19" 3.25, but i cant find this size, with a valaced rim, what size should i be looking for, this bike wont be raced, but it will be paraded, so could someone point me in the right direction as to what wheel size i should go for and will i need racing tyres or will road tyres be ok, something like TT100s or avon speedmasters, for my CR750 lookalike, thanks Tony

Tony, most people go for 18" front and rear for the better choice tyres.

Sam's right - WM3 front and if you can, WM5 in the back, although a WM4 will do just as nicely - 18" rekord flanged rims in alloy - nice :-)
Get some from central wheel who I think are pricey or also from discovolantemoto or even Phil Denton nowadays...

I'll jump in, although others will have suggestions.  On the front - 110/-/18, rear a 130 or 140.  I have an Akront WM3 (shouldered) laced to a 750 hub available (needs polishing), and a NOS Akront drop centre WM5? (need to re-measure) available.

Dunlop KR124 on the front and I think it's a KR164 on the rear from memory....

Perchance memory serves you well as that is what I also have on mine, although in my case the rear rim is a WM4

In the service buitin in the Daytona thread, the tyre  size is given as 300/19 front and 350/19 rear.
I ran WM2 and WM3 both  18 inch, it's a mater of preferance.
