Helment has a vintage Bell look, I like the candy red, maybe I'll look at one of those as I'm without.

As for eyes, isn't it a state law that you have eye protection?

I had a set of vintage military goggles but my wife won't let me wear them. My eyes water pretty bad also. I'm usually good though with a pair of sunglasses that have good coverage.

I wear a helmet but I better stay out of that discussion.

My full face helmet does a pretty decent job of protecting and keeping the wind off my eyes.

I agree with Gordon my full face plus regular sunglasses do it for me. My neighbor Pete went for a test ride after replacing his clutch. The front tire went suddenly flat and he went down. He has had two reconstructive surgeries on his face and he still looks like he had a stroke. Had a helmet on looked just like the one you want to buy.

Yeah, there are full faced helmets on CL new  for just as cheap, carbon fiber for about  $50.

Better than squid, but I got nothing now... good headbucket  thread.   Still like the retro look, but the jawbone on pavement is a buying decision.

My helmet looks like that + Red Baron goggles.  Love those goggles, the helmet makes my nose and chin freeze in winter.  Better go with full face, IMHO.

I wear an open face Fulmer V2 with either aviators during the day, or my yellow tinted shooting glasses at night.  The aviators are from Walgreen's, $11, have a nice little wrap to them to keep the wind out of your eyes, and, because they're cheap as can be, have plastic lenses, so I don't have to worry about glass shattering *if* I ever take a spill.  The shooting glasses are full wrap around, yellow tinted, ABS plastic from Academy, also about $10-$15.  They aren't as good at deflecting wind for me, but that's because my schnoz is about the size of Mount Everest and they don't have adjustable nose pads.  All in all, they're both really cheap solutions that work very well for me.
