been meaning to do this for quite a while, was just waiting to test these new parts in a race first, but I am having a a strange season this year with my GPZ750/810, had to skip the last two races.

so these adapters for 300mm VFR discs need to be tried yet, but its about time to say thanks for the great service done for me by member TTR400.

I prepared the cad file and he proceeded to machine the parts in record time, ship them quickly, and charge me only for the materials and shipping.... :) cant get much better than that.

Highly recommended guy! (as if you didnt know yet :) )

I'm going to be having the odd race on a GPZ750 next year, what's it like, or have you not finnished it yet?

Sam, it's up and running, actually had already three races on it, even got a 2nd with it in a non championship race (top guys missing :) ) just not really sorted. I am the only one running such a bike round here, so got to sort out things myself, not much info around.

interesting bit, got in contact with a guy who was working at Rob Muzzy in the rainey superbike years, he revealed to me quite a lot of the "secrets", but most of the info was relevant only if you had works kawasaki parts and backup. They were revving them to 14K to keep up with the works VF750's, changing valve springs often! guess it was a one motor per race thing...

weight wise it's surely less than a CB750, maybe 165kg,  it's just quite taller, specially set up the way it is now for quick steering
size wise, it surely fits my 6'4" much better!

bike changed quite a lot from 82 to 83 (like mine) when the uni track was introduced,  which vintage is your mount?

Looks real nice Yo. 8) I knew you had had it out but didn't remember if you reported on how it went, probably my old brain (or lack of one) ;D ;D
I'm not sure what the model is I'll be riding, just know it's a GPZ750. It's Juha Leinos brothers bike and I'll get to ride it in the odd Finnish drag bike series round next year. Looking forward to it. 8) 8)

1983 unitrack 750, 810cc Wiseco, Mike Rieck head, Megacycle cams, V&H exhaust,
ZX-9R front forks, GSX-R 750 swingarm, VFR-800/ CBR-900 17" rims.
That should paint a picture  ;)

Engine wise sounds a bit like mine, got andrews cams and keihin CR's too.  how much hp did you get it up to? I was up to 90rwhp before jetting changes on track, gotta get her on the dyno again, as I have went from 125 mains to 115.

we are just not allowed all your chassis mods in vintage road racing, stuff has to be period, up to the cut off date of 83'

The bike is still under construction, no idea about the engine power yet.
It's a streetbike for everyday use, so that limits compression ratio and cam profile etc.

I'm to old for compression and cams anyway, If it has one of Murphys heads on it, It'll probably rip my old arms out anyway. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D 11s here I come. ::)

 If you want to leave the 11s and 10s out and ride 9s to save some time, you are welcome to ride my Suzuki  ;)
It's easy and extremely comfortable bike to ride  ::)

it's pretty amazing what the smaller block 650/750 Kawi motor can take. shame they never been as popular to tune as the 1000.
no need of special rods, chains or such ;)

the stock undercut transmission in the GPZ is sure nice too and just in case, got also 6 speed GPZ550 components to drop in if need  ::)

leino, the stock gpz made 68 rwhp in the original cycle mag test of 83'

enough GPZ stories, intention was to thanks TTR .... I think ill go now to the garage to work a bit on the big bore 850 c.c. street GSXR750K i m working on

Does Mr. TTR400 make other stuff to order as well, if I can provide a cadfile?

i think that other than sohc 4 stuff on the link, his main businees is modern superbikes racing CNC parts made to order....

Dont tell anybody, but RSC supported kawaski racing behind the scenes for quite a while ;)

yeah, yeah, i know.... made those originally for my CB500/4 racer, had a few spare castings left and it turned out that they fit the kawi cases too, just didnt have the time to grind off the markings, so heck, it's a work RSC GPZ :)
