Brisk ride
« on: September 23, 2011, 06:14:36 AM »
I know 50 degrees is not cold by any stretch of the imagination, but when you are used to 100+, 50 is pretty brisk.  i rode i at 5:30 and I have to tell you, the bike hits the Ton with ease at this temp!  ;D

Sweet.

I've been riding in to work all week, and dodging the afternoon thundershowers on the way home.  Yesterday, luck ran out.  Got soaked.  :)   Today's forecast is 80% chance of afternoon thunderstorms again, so I chicken'd out and drove the truck.  Right now, though, it's sunny and 80 degrees.

Even still, it's supposed to be 91 degrees later on.  Ugh.

Mornings are a bit more pleasant although still usually in the upper 70s and still humid.

I don't ride everyday.  I have to wear slacks and I have messed up a pair or 2 with oil spots.   :o

It is Friday, jeans day, so I couldn't resist a ride.

LOL!  Yep, I have a couple pairs of dress slacks with a few oil specks down around the ankles...  :D  I ride in anyway!  And I keep wearing the slacks, too, specks or no.  :D

I work rotating shifts and rode my Dream to work the other evening. On the way home it was in the 50's. The 50's IMO are still pretty comfortable to ride in and yeah, the bike loved the cooler temps.

I should be.  I might truck the bike down and that way I have a place to keep all of my crap.  I don't want to pu that box back on there.  LOL
