Hi,
I have a speedo & tach that has the common problem of the number face
getting faded & turning lighter.I have seen some reproduction gauge faces
& they seem alright.I want to know if anyone here has ever tried taking the
gauge apart,removing the number face & spraying it w/ a certain product
that will give it a little darker shadow so that it won't be as light colored &
faded looking ? The other option I was thinking of was painting them over
to look almost,or as good as original...you know restoring them to factory
O.E. look. Any body ever try either of those things ? I just like the original
look the best.
