I couldn't resist this little runabout. 1973 CB 350 G. Gentleman is 74 years young and can't ride anymore. As you can see he parked it among his Lionel trains. Sat there for three (3) years. He did drain the float bowls. Gas tank will need a rinse along with a new battery. I like the fairing but the windscreen needs cut down. Any suggestions?

Any of you that has one of these please chime in with specifications of valve settings, point gap etc. Would be much appreciated until I can find a service manual.

Can't help you much on the spec. of the bike toytuff, but these 350's are great little bikes for local riding. Several guys in HS back in the 70's (man I'm getting old) had these and they rode the piss out of them and to my knowledge never had any trouble out of them. Never been a fan of fairings on any bike so it would have to go. If its at a price your happy with I don't see how you could go wrong.

Thanks guys. Bike is on trailer. PO said it's been eight (

years sitting in his house. Tank looks good inside, drained floats and removed battery.

Bike is much better in person. Needs a little TLC but not much.

As far as what I will do is uncertain. The fairing looks good and I was suprised that the stock headlight, fork ears and reflectors are still intact!

The saddle bags are going for sure. Engine guard not certain but drop me a PM and if I sell it I will contact you first.

OK, "scooter" is now in it's new home. Thought I would post a few more pictures.

I noticed on the title last activity it was dated 02/2000. The tag on the plate shows 1986.

I don't think the PO ever did anything with it. Sure is in nice condition for 38 years old. At the moment the only thing missing is the front turn signal stems and one (1) side cover emblem. Anybody have a spare emblem lying around? Shopping for one.

He said a young kid was after him to sell and I told him on the phone "don't do it!"

Another guy after me was going to give him asking price of $1200.00. He told him that I was coming down to get it. 270 miles one way! I had sealed the deal for $800.00 so I appreciated some ethics, morals and standards he still had. Hard to find today. Got and extra carburetor in the deal.

It was time to get started. Removed the bags, crash bar, fairing. Hosed it down good and a general cleaning. Relocated the ignition switch where it was supposed to be. Why it was mounted on the handlebars I'll never know.

Looking for rear brake shoes if you know of any. Can't find them.

Did some research from the old title. PO had it nine (9) years and put 62 miles on it. Sat in his study room.

That is a sweet ride & it's been "KEPT WELL";I have a 72' CB350K4 last year w/ the drum brake up front.It has a bent frame, but aside from that it is real clean.I am going to enlist someone to help me straighten the frame & I sure look forward to the process;it really isn't that bent.

I'm searching right now for some front signals or a least the stems. I live in BHC so PHX is a 250 mile one way trip. Several on eBay but mostly junk. Have a number for this guy?

I got the tank flushed out this morning. Leak at the float bowls. Tightened. Drained floats but drain screw blocked with dried fuel. Petcock disassembled and cleaned. What a mess.

Here goes! Fired right up after nine years asleep!

Have an intake leak on the right at the moment so I'm looking for some intake boots otherwise old "scooter" is running.

Another seat is on the way and a huge parts order forth coming. Brakes, fork seals yadda, yadda.

The exhaust has to go so looking for a clean set.

This is a 1973 CB 350G model. First year with front disc brake. I believe in 1974 they went to a CB 360 model. It might be called a K after doing some reading.

The front stems are still available new. I just bought a pair through my local dealer (who gives me brother-in-law prices) this week. The intake rubbers are also still available from Honda, as are the turn signals themselves. But the new signal lamps are pricey as hell. And nobody at Bob's is going to crawl around in that yard looking for a decent used set. Most are either broken, scratched, or sun blistered. Trust me - I spent over three hours there on Tuesday getting a decent set for my CL450. Their number is 602/243-4241. eBay site is http://stores.ebay.com/Bobs-Used-Motorcycle-Parts

Frankly, I wouldn't bother calling. You'll just hear "yeah, I'm sure we have those. Come over and look around". I agree, Bullhead to Phoenix is one heck of a drive for turn signals. Probably better to buy new re-pops off eBay.

I have extra signals. Just looking for stems. Trying to keep the rebuild down as I might try to sell it when finished. Of course one ride around the block will change that huh?

My apologies for that. I forgot you have the '73 model. The stems for up through '72 are a bit shorter, but otherwise look the same and are still available. Part # 90154-268-670. About $15 new. Distance between signal body where the stem enters and fork ear is 45mm.

Since we are on the subject of exhaust is there a way to remove the baffle on a set of Jardine 2 into one exhaust?

Would love a stock set but if I can't locate one would like to quiet this one down a bit.

There is a rivet and it appears the inside would come out however I'm not sure how hard it would be and what you would use.

which is the correct mufflers.The mufflers are very solid;the right one has been taken apart & professionally repaired by a welder. These mufflers are completely sealed and ready for years of use. That 73' is SO pretty though...& these
parts sure wont match the like new shine of your "time capsule" CB350G.

(had stator cover off for timing, needs replaced. 38 years was long enough I guess)
