Name is Ryan, live about 30 mins north of milwaukee. Hopefully soon ill be in possesion of a 1978 CB750. Good friend of mine is just putting it back together 100% stock.......Been bikeless for about a year and its killing me, started out on a magna 750 and stepped up to the sportbike game with a TL1000R and moved up to a 06 ZX10r (174 rwhp) that was set up primarily for track/twistie riding and i miss her everyday. Sold it to get my new cage (wrx STi). Been riding since I was 16 on the street and have always loved the old jap bikes but coulndt justify having one when i had my zx10r....Now I have a 2 yr old son who is totally into his plastic wrenches and screw drivers i figured an old trusty CB would be a good introduction for him to "help" me tinker on. My plan is to go 100% cafe but with modern bits and pieces.......
Ill add a few questions since im at it.....I had pazzo shorty adjustable levers on my zx10 and just doesnt feel right not having them on a bike, is this pheasable on a 78 cb?

Not a fan of the search option on here but will try again, but is there a thread that explains what wheels are easily swappable? Id love to throw on some kawi 250R wheels but as it looks from my research i may be making too many issues......
Anyways I look forward to learning a ton from such a great crowd and sharring my progress as i continue my journey with my CB....
