if you have never ridden one, its a
fantastic motorcycle. heron type cyl head, 6 speed, elec ignition, elec tach, cdi type ignition, and that front drum actually works very well. when they came out they were very pricey, but having gone through tjhis pone, i can see why. about 42HP, 8k+ rev limit.. not bad for a pushrod v-twin 350. and it handles fantastic.
all the trim is stainless also. I did all the work except the paint, sometimes.. ya just got to cut a check.
according to the importer, (yes hes still alive and doin well actually) there were only 177 of these brought to the us in 74. there were more grey imported in and most were sport models.
