Bent footpeg mounts
« on: May 12, 2006, 12:58:58 AM »
On my 77 CB750 F1, both of the footpeg mounts that bolt onto the frame are bent, so my footpegs are pointing off in strange directions.  I tried banging them straight but they are really solid, which makes me wonder how they got bent in the first place!  Are these parts available or does anyone know of aftermarket mounts (with footpegs) that would fit?

There's a set on eBay right now for a '76. They look suspiciously like those on my K0, so they may be the same across most/all of the 750's?

The foot peg on 76 F were also bent. I had them bent back into shape, though. My dad has gas torches, so he was able to heat the up enough so that they were actually bendable. Didn't get it spot on, but it MUCH better that it was before.
