Anyone interest in a Hill Country ride in November?

Here is what I have in mind, suggestions are welcome:

Meet up in Austin on Fri afternoon, Nov 11th, camp that night just west of Austin.

Ride the Hill Country all day Saturday, possibly out to Fredricksberg and Llano, then camp.

Sunday, head home...

Thoughts, suggestions? You in??

I am down for this.  Are we doing it?  Nov. 11th?  I need to request that day off.

Yes! Let's start recruiting, I'd like to get at least the "Rally Guys" back together, if not more SOHC guys.

And if you want to truck your bike down, you welcome to park at my house.

I might be down for this, too.  We had a good group for the Texas leg of the rally.

For any Hill Country peeps looking for a good time in October, Harvest Classic vintage motorcycle rally in Luckenbach is coming up at the end of the month.  I'm definitely going (registered last week), as well as many others.  I hear it's an awesome event with tons of vintage bikes and some good ol' moto fun.

If any other SOHC'ers are interested, maybe we could camp together, or at least meet up and say howdy.

So, how many SOHC owners are in the Houston area?  Do they ever get together, even as part of a larger vintage bike club or other gathering?

Rusty

Rusty --  We should get a SOHC Houston group together for a ride.  Or, at least, join another ride and get as many fellow SOHC'ers as possible to join.  I'm at Darkhorse Tavern once a month (well, more than that), but just monthly for the Ton Up bike meet-up.  It's mostly oil-dripping brit bikes, but I keep hoping for more Hondas to happen.

Anytime some Houston folks would care to get a ride and some beers, I am IN.

I'm going!
Don't know yet if it will be by bike or truck.
I've got to put more miles on the bike before I'm confident to ride it that far.

Wish I could make it for the November camping trip, but there's no way I can get off work that weekend.  It's the start of the holiday season and I've already called in the favors I have to get next week off to hang out with my best bud while my wife and kids are off visiting her folks.
