I have a 1979 cb650z and live in Tasmania, Australia, which in itself is an odd combination. The 650 was never sold in australia so these bikes seem as rare as hens teeth here, however a few (from my understanding) have come from the phillipines as ex police bikes and shipping containers brought in from japan by prospective entrepreneurs. If you live in aus and own a cb650 I'd love to hear the history behind how your bike came to be cruising the great open roads of aus!
