What's up guys

Hey guys, I just stumbled on this site doing some research on the CB's.  Like most of you here, I got bit by the Cafe Racer bug and I'm looking to build a project bike soon.
I have my eye on a rough 1979 CB750 that I'd like to slowly wrench on. 
I'm in no rush to complete the bike as I currently have a 06 CBR1000RR, but I'm hoping to have it running some time next season if all goes well.

I'll post pics when I'm allowed too lol

Welcome!

If the bike you are looking to buy is a '79, then it is a DOHC. 78 was the last year of the Single OverHead Cams.

You should be able to post pics. I use photobuckbucket to upload to, then copy and paste.

It might just be a late registered SOHC. Count the camshafts and let us know!

I might have secured a 79 CB650 instead... it's less expensive and closer to my house.

What would you guys recommend I grab between the two?  79 CB650 or 79 CB750?????
