78 F motor pistons
« on: September 29, 2011, 07:54:07 AM »
have a chance to obtain a 78F Motor for a 750.  Good news is only 60 miles on it.guy was hit an killed on the bike in 78, they had to cut the motor out of what was left of the bike.  considerable water damage to upper end.  The guy I am gonna get it from started taking top end apart and has obtained a new head, but has misplaced the pistons in his shop.  Anyone got a pic of what they look like?

Here is the only copy I have of my 77f pistons after I cleaned them up.  Pistons should be the same as the 78.
