Topic: What's the deal with American Motorcycle Tire?

I ordered tires from these guys after spotting the link here in the FAQ's (www.americanmototire.com). They shipped the little things I ordered -- tubes, wheel weights, etc.), but not my darn tires. The company has weird customer service hours, they don't seem to respond to emails and it takes days to get them on the phone (they have a very screwed up answering system).

Has anybody else had trouble ordering from these guys?

Hmm. I just got off the phone with American Motorcycle Tire. They're extremely helpful, once you get a hold of them.

Turns out my tires were stolen. They shipped my tubes, weights, etc. in a box strapped to the tires, but some scumbag somewhere along the way decided the tires might look good on his bike and cut the shipping straps. The label on the box shows the correct weight for tires, but the tires went bye-bye. Fortunately, AMT is going to ship me some new ones.

Hope my old rubber lasts a few more days.

  I hope the scumbag that stole those tires has a blowout at 90 mph and cracks his head a good one. It'd serve the jerk right.
