Customs from Japan?
« on: September 29, 2011, 05:55:21 AM »
Does anyone have any experience receiving large items from Japan?  I'm waiting on an exhaust system being shipped via EMS and tracking results show that it's been in Customs at JFK International since Monday...  Just wondering if I should be concerned.  Of course, it could be that tracking results haven't been updated yet.  I hate waiting!

U.S. Customs was alwqays slow. After 9/11 it gave them an excuse to be extra slow.

Sorry but US Customs has discovered that the megaphone was packed to the hilt with a high grade illegal substance, was cut up looking for more and is currently being held as evidence.  THEY will be in touch soon.  ;D 8)

That's crazy--my Morgan Carbtune got here only a week after ordering, and I've never had a problem getting stuff from DSS (UK) or Japan, but that was all small packages...
