Jetting for a carpy 4 into 1 and pods

what kinda jetting will i  need for a carpy 4 into one and pod filters on a cb750k

You won't find a universal size for jetting with pods. Do yourself a favour and buy K&N pods, they are more expensive than most but at least they have velocity stacks which make it easier to tune, most other pods are crap and are virtually impossible to tune to suit all conditions. Forum member tintop has an aftermarket filter system that works well and is far easier to tune.....

just curious but whats the k&n air filter part number? need some for my bike. are they the same ones that fit the cr carbs?

Sorry orkid, i don't have the part number, although i am sure that there are plenty of guys here that would have. Tintops are more expensive but are tested to flow up to 300+ HP, they are made for tintop by a company that specialises in formula 1 systems.

Sounds awesome. I can't wait to get my hands on a set. Im assuming ill have to increase the jet size switching from pods right?

Most probably, freer flowing pipe and freer flowing in take, i would go up one size and see how you go from there....

I just went back to my standard air box, after trying for literally years to get my f1 running properly. Its 836, free exhaust and finer filter... We ended up with 115  on the mains, & it runs fuggen awesome. Don't be in too much of a hurry to ditch the standard box. I learned the hard way.

yea stock airbox is already gone ahha i know other people out there have to be running this set up i was just curious what other people are running and what works well for them

well if i had a stock air box i would totally agree with you but my bike came with cheap pod filters on it.

well every motor is different unfortunately. what year is your bike? what filters do you plan on running? what is the current jet size and current intake and exhaust setup? the more info on the bike the better. if i had to guess starting from stock i would say a size or so up. it never hurts to have a few sets of different size jets. i get mine from http://jetsrus.com/

its a 75' k5 the mains are 105's do i need to only worry about the mains or other jets as well

For street it is hard to beat the stock setting. the oem stacks work great and also with oem box. You can leave filter out.
For trackracing oem stacks also work great. Jetting is different for every bike. It is mostly trial and error. do not change to much at the time. On my F2 track bike I use the FD carbs with 150 mains, needle 1 notch lower and removed the choke completely. Now it sucks in more air. Homebrew stacks.

i would say buy one size up mains just incase but most likley the stock ones will work. it all depends on how it runs now and what it has. also i highly doubt that you will need to change out the pilot jets. from what ive heard go up 1 pilot for every 3 main jet sizes but obviously this all depends on tons of different variables. when it comes to tuning these it never hurts to have extra sets of jets.
