Cb350f exhaust stud
« on: October 01, 2011, 11:48:20 AM »
I had a broken exhaust stud in the head of my 1974 cb350f that i have drilled out, but now i can't find either a new stud to replace it or specs order to source about aftermarket one. Does anyone have a spare stud sitting around or the measurements needed it find a replacement?

This says you need a M6 thats 50 mm long.
You're looking for number 13 on that list.

Thanks, for the link.

Is there a different thread on the end that goes unto the head or are both ends of the stud 6mm?

Nope, that'd be a b*** to machine, and cost way more than $2 a pop I would think. But no, it's just a normal stud, if that's what you're asking.

6mm thread on both ends of the stud. Problem solved and stud replaced.
