Well, here's another in my recent installment of probably eventually irrelevant questions (I've changed my mind on this thing more then I care to think about).
I was sort of thinking about putting some lighter, more modern billet rider footpegs on my K5 (when real mechanical skill eludes one, one searches for convenient bolt ons
). I searched and found many threads outlining confusion about this, but some thought that new Honda 600F pegs might fit reasonably well. As far as I can tell, all Honda sportbike pegs from about 2000 (including F pegs) are the same fit.
My question is, if I find billet pegs which are round to eliminate the angle issue, would these fit directly in? Is angle the only issue, or is there a clearance issue with the male end as well?
