CB750 K0

What causes the exhasut to 'pop' while at idle? Running slightly rich. Timing is spot on. No air leaks in the intake.

thanks

Did you check/adjust the valves?

Yes, but I'm wondering if I have a stuck or damaged one. I'm going to check them hot.

Popping is usualy air leaks on the exhaust.

I'm with Bryan on this one.  Had the same problem on my 750 when I first rebuilt it.  Turns out I didn't have the headers seated all the way in and clamped down tight enough.
