The strange thing is while he does say it is a 1982 KZ750, it has a 4 into 1 header on it so I am assuming that it isn't a KZ750. I can't find too much information about four cylinder Kawasakis.
What four cylinder Kawasakis are there in 1982? Is there any design flaws or reliability problems? How much would you pay for a project bike like this?

Kawasaki's first 4-cylinder was, of course, the 903cc Z1 of 1973!
Their 2nd 4-stroke was a twin in 1974, the KZ400. (Not counting the re-badged BSA of Meguro-Kawasaki of the late 60s)
Then, the 4-cylinder KZ650 in '76.
The KZ750 4-cylinder was an evolution / growth of that KZ650.
By 1982, Kawasaki had inline fours in, IIRC, 550, 650, 750, 1000 and 1100 cc flavors, and in various cruiser, standard and sport clothes, even a few shafties - LTD, CSR/KZ and GPz.
And don't forget the inline 6 - KZ1300!
As for reliability - what grcamna said!
As for price, well, assuming perfect cosmetics, and assuming it's NOT the cruiser model (I just don't care for 'em...) I think somewhere in the $650 $800 range. Cosmetics will impact value a LOT, and of course, more info on the mechanical / electrical problems could dramatically impact value.
