quick introduction
« on: May 20, 2006, 08:40:15 PM »
hey, just wanted to introduce myself before i start bombarding you all with stupid questions.  I got a 78 750k basket case for free almost 10 years ago, and just got a 78 750 F3 for far too cheap.  Ive had lotsa other bikes in between, but these are the ones im holding on to. The K has been a great running rat, mostly around the city in New Orleans and Minneapolis with a few trips between the two.  The F is in better shape than any bike ive had and nearly stock(not for long).   Bad weather and poor government planning sent me back to the land of winter so ill have a lot less time for riding and a lot more for drinking beer in the garage, and i figured i could use all the help i can get fixing my bikes while im in there.  Thanks in advance for letting me burden you all with a lot of dumb questions from a mediocre mechanic.
