I agree, nothing that exciting where I live/ride.  :( Might be a good thing though, how do you keep your eyes on the road with views like that?  ;D

Fairly dull scenery for us I'm afraid.

Southern Classic Bike Show and Autojumble at Kempton Park racecourse.  Same afternoon as the FA Cup Final so quite a poor turn out.  Some nice bikes in the car park but very little in the autojumble to interest a Jap bike fan (great if you want a bolt for a 1940s BSA though...)

I was lucky enough to have spent a couple of weeks in Ireland, about 5 years ago.  Was fantastic.  We hired a car and drove south from Dublin, around the bottom 1/2 of the country up to Galway, and then back across the middle to Dublin.

Heading out onto the M11 directly from the place I got the car was some experience, driving on the left for the first time.  Luckily we pass on the right all the time here on the 401, as nobody understands the left lane is for passing.

Wonderful country, and amazing scenery.  Granted, I still live and breathe for the granite outcroppings and fresh water lakes of the Canadian Shield, but boy, Ireland is something else.
