Hey KCC,

That is why I said "almost never". Locking up your front with that less pressure is not good in my book. Never had a issue with putting the bike down under 'pressure'.
If I remember well, which I mostly do not, the diametre of the brakepiston changed after the K0 or K1, I believe. Maybe someone with a better memory can fill in?

Cheers. Rob

I sanded the hell out of the rotor yesterday with 220grit paper, so I know this things been deglazed now.  Still no difference.

Is it possible to have a firm handle feel while there might still be air in the lines?  I don't get bubbles out of the bleeder valve anymore, so I assume it's bled correctly..

I suppose I could swap on the stock one and see what happens.  I won't have time this weekend, but eventually here...

It's just weird, because when I pulled the caliper off to switch the pads, I used the MC to pump the entire piston out of the housing on the caliper.  It did that no problem.  I would think if fluid wasn't being transferred correctly, that wouldn't happen.  I did use all new banjo's and bolts as well, so those shouldn't be clogged.

I'll try swapping MC's and see what happens.  I do appreciate all the help, that's for sure.

Did you check the pad alignment to the rotor? I have seen the adjustment cause the pad to ride on a small area rather than the entire surface. Just throwing an idea out there. Maybe you could try sliding a piece of paper in different spots to check contact. good luck.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

am I insane? There's no mention of changing or rebuilding the caliper anywhere in this thread. You have this guy sanding pointlessly for days without checking that?
