I know i haven't been around all that much over the past year or so. Work has just kept me goin nuts. However the extra work allowed me to buy this....

The bike currently requires some work and has the following mods done to it:

CBR 600 F4i solo tail section
Shortened and gutted Yoshimura muffler
Pass pegs removed
Chassis and forks painted black
Dirtbike headlight
Signal indicators in upper triple clamp

It currently needs:

Tail/brake light
Rear turn signals
Speedometer

Dunno, I bought the bike as you see it in the pics. I know it is supposed to have full coverage body work, But part of the reason i bought it is because it has been converted to a Naked bike much like our beloved CBs, This is prob the closest i will get to owning a CB for a long time lol

I did some brake, fork and rear end work on one for a lady a few months ago. When I rode it I found it a bit small and twitchy feeling ???

I will agree it is a much smaller machine...def feels a LOT lighter and more compact then my VF750. But not as small and twitchy as the much newer CBR600RR and CBR1000RR i rode this season. A couple buddies insisted i take their bikes out for a run to get a feel for how a CBR is like to ride. Initially when Phil told me to take his 1000RR out for a run i was a lil nervous about that idea lol

That reminds me of my FZR600.
The only bodywork I have is the race glass and I'm not sticking that on for the streets.

I would remove that big SEED POD from the back of the bike right now.No dignity at all.

I would get rid of that garbage can muffler too. Put it on a truck or something.

Cant say i dont blame ya on that one. I believe the tail is just a modified stock unit so no worries on that part. Im kinda tempted to add some aluminum under it to make it stronger to support a seat bag for longer rides.

Not sure what you are refering to with the seed pod remark as for the muffler it is actually a modified Yoshimura muffler from a newer bike that has been shortened and gutted. If i do anything to it it will be to fix the loose baffle inside it.

The plan for the bike at the moment is this:

Replace the front fender/fork brace assembly
make a filler plate for under the tail and provide a mount point for tail lights.
Replace the acerbis Cyclops headlight with a normal round 5" or 7" head light
install a national cycle flyscreen once i find a dealer for them
install a Veypor VR2 digital motorcycle computer
Replace the fork seals and refill forks with heavier fork oil
clean carbs and rejet to take advantage of the other mods on the bike.
