That seems... oddly timed? They JUST implemented their new website, and I just ordered an exhaust system from them a week ago.

There is a bookstore in town that I go by quite a bit and he has a sign out front sometimes that says"Going Out For Business".They did a little story in the paper about his advertising ploy and said it tricked, err, I mean brought a lot of people into his store that thought he was closing.
Be curious to see if that may be his angle or maybe just dropping Wiseco  ???

Sometimes businesses go out of business for more than one reason.

There was a wonderful little scooter shop here in Sacramento that was central to the scooter scene, and did great service to the community. They sold SYM, Genuine, and used scooters as well as repairs. They ran monthly rides and threw BBQ's every few months, everyone was welcome.

Then, one half of the husband/wife team was recalled to serve in Iraq.

SYM's importer's warehouse was set on fire in an arson case. No scooters from them for at least 6 months.

Then, Genuine got slapped with a 300K fine for shipping scooters that were not CARB certified. No scooters for unknown duration.

With both lines gone and the year long deployment looming, they decided to just shut down while they were still in the black.

Sad, really. Now we are left with no serious scooter shops, just motorcycle shops with scooters as a sideline.
