Well, It's been a while since I posted. I was out of the country working. I changed my mind about the front end. I decided to go with a modern GXSR front end instead. I really like the look. Added were:

GSXR Front End
Benjie Oil Tank
MAC Exhaust
Joker Points Cover
Joker Clutch Cover
Joker Side Mirrors
Dyna Electronic Ignition
Rick's Rectifier/Regulator

What did you do to convert the steering stem from the R6 to fit the Honda?

Thank you very much.. I used the CB stem in the GSXR front end. The are a couple of guys here that did it. I got all the info from this site.

Hi Donny, its cool that the CB stem is the same diameter, i have one in a GSXR1100K front end, pressed straight in. Is that rear wheel a 17 or 18 mate.?

Thanks Rocket..... the stem is a tad bit smaller. I placed a shim in there to make it work. Its in there pretty tight.

Cool, i didn't need any shims, just a decent press to reinstall it. Whats your rear rim size mate.? 17 or 18.?

There was a member here who heated the stem and stretched it to fit. I wanted to do that too, but I don't have that kind of heat and tool to do that. I couldnt find anyone here in AZ to help me either so I had to shim it. The rear is a stock 17, I wish it was an 18 though. I don't like the way it looks.

I actually like the 17 on your bike because you've managed to find a higher profile tire to fill up the rear of the bike, looks good.

The bike is pretty much done except for paint. I've been overseas a lot. I replaced the seat with a seat I ordered from the boys from Dime City, also added a new headlight. I had some issues with the carbs leaking and not running smoothly. So I ordered bigger jets and new gaskets. The bike runs pretty good now, but it needs to be fine tuned. I don't know how to sync carbs so I'll have to take it to a shop. I also have to find a way to mount a steering stabilizer on it. I want to thank this website for all the info. I've learned so much here.
