National Motorcycle Riders Day
« on: May 14, 2006, 08:27:52 AM »
Today, besides it being Mother's Day, May 14th is National Motorcycle Riders Day.

Here is a website that I found on google --  http://www.blessingofthebikes.org/

I live about 2 hours east and was never aware of this, thanks. Both myself and my bike could certainly use it.  ;)
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Me and 2 friends rode to the blessing last year. Don't know yet if we are going again this year.

I've never gone, but it looks like fun..I live in Grand Rapids, and every year, there's a huge roar early in the morning as bike stream out of town like rats from a burning ship!
Another neat ride that originates here is the Midnight Ride, from here to The Mackinac Bridge. It is actually run during the night.
