I've been lurking for awhile, figured it was time to join.

like the title says, ive been lurking these forums ever since i bought my first bike a month or so ago. i picked up a 75 honda cb550 for $1000. it ran when i got it ,but it was rough. just started messing around cleaning the carbs and changing the oil. ive never worked on a bike before. just wanted to say hi and thanks for all of the good info so far.

Welcome, those 550's are great bikes. I had a 76 550 many years ago, wish I still had it.

Welcome from Texas! I also had a 550 and wish I still did. Sold it to buy a 750. Post someics, would like to see it.

thanks for the warm welcome. glad to see love for the 550. ill post some pics here in a few days, once i get the chance.
