Topic: Barber festival bike auction and CB prices - anybody ?

I was at Barber over the weekend and had a great time.   I stopped by the auction for a hour or so and was shocked at how low the prices were for the bike going across the stage.     I had to leave because I flew in (didn't have a trailer) and I didn't bring enough cash.

Did anyone happen to see what the CB's were going for ?     

I saw a custom HD built by Garage Company (nothing ground-breaking - but a nicely done bar-hopper) that the highest bid was $6000.  The auctioneer said they'd sell it for $7500.   Talked to the original builder and he said the owner had at least $35k in the bike.  Mostly labor I'm guessing.   Seemed like there were some steals at the auction.

A 67 BSA 650 that looked fantastic went for $3200.     

You guys catch any other smoking deals at that auction or in the swap meet ?

Only thing CB I know about the auction is that the beatiful orange Rickman didn't get to the reserve.  I'm not sure about the few other CBs.
