Ok, so I can't figure out if a "standard" piston and ring set will work or if I need an oversize.  The bore is beautifully straight with no imperfections.  I'd like to get away with just doing rings, but It would be best to do piston and rings.  Please let me know what size the new piston should be and where to find one on the cheap...

-Thanks,

Tyler

Did you check service manual?
 Isn't stock size 61mm?
Did you check micrometer for 'zero' before you started?
Usually the bore is accurate to within 0.02mm from the factory so I wouldn't expect bore to be less than 60.98mm, when it's bedded in, it gets slightly bigger.
I'm pretty sure your measuring method is wrong somewhere
I fake being smart pretty good
