CBR250RR Engine
« on: October 11, 2011, 09:01:40 AM »
Looking forward to planning the next cafe project.  I'm really leaning toward building a light weight custom framed CBR250RR with a traditional cafe look.  (Note, this is the 4cyl, not the new twin model).  My problem is that I've not been able to locate a good used engine.  Officially, the US never received this bike, and I'm not too certain it was sold in Canada.  Anyone here with familiarity?  I do know they seem to be plentiful in Australia.

They were available in Canada, cool motorcycle. One is raced by a good female rider in the VRRA.

Are you sure they were, Brent? The bike Laura bought and races was an import from somewhere overseas...She also bought a complete, but much rougher spare bike. I'll find out what the name of the outfit was in the Toronto area where she bought them. Sounds like a cool project. :)
