Interchangeable kick stands?

Hey all,

I've got a '73 CB750 in need of a non-twisty-chrome kickstand for my CB and I've found one on eBay for a '78.  The part numbers are different, but can I swap them out for one another?

You will be better off to stick to a 76 or earlier for the best fit.Has to be a ton of them out there . The foot style,some had a rubber anti sink,and a larger steel loop to grab with shoe are some differences in those years but will work.
