78 CK750K Brake Caliper Question
« on: October 12, 2011, 07:20:14 PM »
Hey guys,

I loaded some photos of the brake caliper I removed from '78 CB750K.  In looking at some of the resources on the internet, my front brake caliper assembly looks nothing like what is shown in the pictures I found.  For one, my caliper has bolts going in from the back, not from the front as show in the examples.  I've attached some links to examples below:

Example 1:

Example 2:

Is it possible that my K8 is fitted with a K0-K6 front brake caliper?

That's an early finned 38mm caliper. The 77/78K had a smooth 42.7mm piston caliper.
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

Thanks scottly.  I'm glad I asked before I went out and bought all parts for a K8 brake caliper.  I knew something was off.  Thanks again.
