Shops in Ohio?
« on: May 15, 2006, 07:10:57 AM »
Hello. I need a good realible shop to do my 550-672 build. I live in north east ohio but am willing to drive an hour to get this doen right. Ive done buisness with Terry Reed in Crestline ohio, awesome builder, but dunno if he knows much about these engines. How much should i pay to have a head ported/polished/valve job, cylinders bored to accept new sleeves, cases bored, sleeves modified, and pistons cut?? Any ideas on who i should go to for this? thanKs!

Call Bob Gerberich at B and L Cycles in Wadsworth (330) 334-0931. Super guy. Stll races AMA vintage at 73 and builds his own engines. Just retired from running his own transmission shop for 35 yrs and now does what he loves.
