Iceland reporting
« on: October 16, 2011, 05:14:12 PM »
Hi everybody.
I am Johann in Iceland.
Just bought me an 750 probably a K2 CB
I have been riding bikes for years and I am now selling my Harley to get back to the nostalgic days of my earlier ridings.
I am looking forward to the clubs activites and will most likely need all kind of info and help in the coming future.

Greetings from the frozen north.

Johann

Iceland, where all the women are beautiful and all the city names are unpronounceable.  :D

Howdy, welcome. There can't be too many old CB750's in Iceland.
Do you have a copy of the Honda Shop Manual or Parts List for your bike? Get one here:

Welcome. You are obligated (well not really, but..) to provide pictures of your ride. Some nice Icelandic scenery as a backdrop might be nice too.  ;)
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Yeah yeah yeah.

I will post photos after I have had opportunity to snap some and even include one of the beautiful women to go with it right now. ;)
I am not sure of how many CB's are in the country but they are around, I will find out.
Quite many CB's were imported between 70 to 85 and some of them are still around and then for the last 10 years during the boom time and greedy bankers with all that jazz quite a number was imported along with other makes.
Bikes have been in Iceland since the war when they came first with the English and then the US forces. My father used to ride with me in front of him on a Ariel Red Hunter 1937 that he owned when I was 2 years of age I am told so you can see I am altogether not a beginner http://forums.sohc4.net/Smileys/default/grin.gif
Thanks.

Regards from the frozen north.
