Morning (1:17am here)

Drunk ProTeal55 here with a questions for you CB'ers.
I have been in talkings with my good buddy Mark, who happens to own a machine shop that has about 12 CNC setups.
He usually does jobs for the army, such as gun triggers, parts for bunker buster bombs, and other cool #$%*.I have been talking with him to see if maybe he could pop out a few "new" finned starter covers for the CB750's.I say this because these covers seem to be hard to find, and when they do come up for sale, they fetch a pretty good buck.

So , the question stands, is it worth me and my buddy to put the time , effort, and $$ into re-producing these covers ? First production run would be of about 50 covers, then more would be made from their if demand requires. Cant have a price for ya this early in the game, but for sure would be cheaper that $150.00 per cover.

I am also gonna sit down with him and look into other "finned" items that we could possibly make, such as entire finned generator covers, finned top triple-tree's, and so on (can't give them all away)  ;D Maybe we could sell them all to carpy and make big bucks, maybe not, who knows.

I am shot, need to go to bed, let me know if this would be of intrest to anyone..

Not desperate, just a business man that see's more than a few parts, that if recreated, could be pretty hot sellers... ;D

Great minds think alike. The expensive part is not the material, it is setting up the tooling.
