Fresh Meat In Oregon
« on: October 14, 2011, 06:44:43 AM »
Greetings from Eugene, Oregon.  Home of some university that I could give a rat's ass about...

Signed up last night for this forum as one of my latest projects is a 1976 CB750K.
I own a motorcycle parts and salvage business but once in a while, I actually get to build a bike, rather than dismember it.
The CB750 came in a few months ago as a project that was started, but never finished.  "It ran when I parked it", was the line the guy who sold it to me used.  Barely a day goes by when I don't hear that phrase.  Usually, that mean the bike ran 20 years ago, before it was left for dead under the walnut tree and the engine is full of water, rust and mice.  However, in this case, the bike fired right up when I hotwired it and it runs great.  It's one of my winter projects, and I'll post some pictures later.

I look forward to sharing and learning here on the forum.

Regards,

Dave
